美國 Sundance Institute 影集計畫與 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation 合作，從投件裡選 1 部以科學、科學史人物或事件為主題的原創影集（半小時或一小時），給編劇（個人或兩人團隊）17,000 美元獎助（外幣不換算）與創作輔導。不限國籍、居住地，劇本要用英文交，但不一定要用英文拍。影集實驗室的一般收件 8/25 已結束，這個獎助用頁面公布的截止延長代碼收到 2026 年 12 月 3 日，在 FilmFreeway 報名，處理費 50 美元。

計分：要寫計畫書、要到場、要交作品各 2 分；要自籌、文件 8 項以上、流程 10 步以上各 1 分（計畫書 10 章以上、自籌一半以上再加 1 分）。1 分以下輕鬆，2–4 分要準備，5 分以上大工程。

申請資格

編劇本人或兩人編劇團隊（不能更多人），申請時年滿 18 歲，不限國籍與居住地。要交完整的原創影集試播集劇本（半小時或一小時），主題要聚焦科學（醫學、能源、機械、科技、數學、發明等，也可以是科學史人物或事件）。劇本用英文交，但不一定要用英文拍。不能申請的：曾把影集企劃賣出、並由美國大型片廠或電視網拍攝播出的編劇；在美國成人劇集編劇室做到 co-producer 以上的編劇；已經有獨家製片夥伴的企劃（非獨家的創作夥伴只能由兩位編劇申請）。企劃不能是非劇本或紀錄類影集、短劇、聲音影集；不能已在美國開發或提案、不能已找到發行、不能已跟第三方簽約；要是新作，以前投過的要有實質修改；要是自己的原創，或改編已取得授權或公有領域的素材，不能侵權。每個企劃各報名一次、各付 50 美元處理費（不退）。原文沒有寫到臺灣，沒有限國家。
