申請資格

計畫主持人（PI）或共同主持人要有人文或社會科學博士學位、並具佛學研究專長；沒有博士學位但發表與專業經歷相當的資深學者也可以。主持人要在大學、文化機構或大型研究機構有長期正式的研究或教學職位。計畫要屬人文或社會科學、以佛學研究為主（歷史、語文、哲學、人類學、宗教研究等，任何佛教傳統或當代發展都可以），要以公眾參與或跟特定佛教社群合作為重點、實質運用學術研究，成果要是讓更多社群、觀眾或修行者接觸佛學的公共活動、資源或體驗。研究本身可以還在進行，但要成熟到能對外分享；學術出版或學術成果不在補助範圍。申請要附計畫裡提到的社群夥伴、文化機構或社群領袖的支持信，由主持人代表團隊送一份申請。申請用英文寫，成果語言不限；執行地點與團隊成員國籍、居住地都不限。款項要撥給正式的受託單位（大學、非營利組織、社區組織等），由單位高階主管在系統上送機構聲明。原文沒有寫到臺灣。
